Cuffs Made For Fighting
This is a picture of the cuffs that I made. I started by braiding black leather to make the front and back supporters. I also entwined the leather with wire and string. After these were created I cut out individual strips of leathers. As you can see they are organized to make color pattern and that is really visible in the picture below.
After I cut out the leather strips, I punched holes into them in order for me to run wire through them. I then twisted copper wire together and ran them through the wholes. After that I attached the wire strips with copper twists one by one. I put them in place by bending the copper wire of the black leather supports. If I were to take this project further I would have covered up the copper wire with another material. I am not sure what I would use but I would have rather covered them so that they are not visible. All in all I enjoyed this project. It shows how I used older materials such as leather and copper to construct and cuff for fighting.
